Your Town Clerk

The Town Clerk's Office is the hub of local government in Lunenburg and serves as the central information point for local residents and citizens.


We maintain vital records, issue licenses (marriage licenses, dog licenses), post board/committee agendas, and administer oaths.


The Town Clerk is responsible for all elections, census, and voter registration, as well as overseeing the polling place and the conduct of all elections and elected-related activity, and records all actions of the Town Meeting.
