Community Visit Day - Thursday, October 24, 4:30-8:30pm
The first of 3 community meetings hosted by Vermont Council on Rural Development. The October 24th meeting will begin with 2 sessions at 4:30 - 6pm; dinner at the Elementary School from 6-7pm; 2 sessions from 7 - 8:30pm. Child care is available at the Library.

Due to construction work, the Town Office Building will be closed on Thursday, February 19th, including the Post Office.
Kate presents Governor Scott with a Lunenburg Mug at the Outdoor Recreation Day at the State House! She met with the Governor, Lt. Governor, Representative John Kascenska, Senator Ingalls, Representative Wells, many folks representing the Outdoor Recreation and Adjacent Industries. Speakers included both the Governor and Lt. Governor as well as the State Treasurer and State Tourism Commissioner. Outdoor Recreation and Tourism account for a tremendous portion of Vermont’s economy and tax revenue, and we continue to look at how Lunenburg can better leverage this opportunity in our community. Opportunities exist for accommodations, businesses and services, and beyond, however most important is ensuring outdoor recreation is accessible to everyone in our community AND that our infrastructure can support it.
